User Guide
Before you leave
Remember to pack:
- 2 swimsuits, so you always have a dry one available.
- Gentlemen, please bring swim briefs or trunks, not shorts.
- If you have a baby, remember to bring a waterproof baby swim diaper for the Marine Fitness Area.
- Also, bring sports attire if you wish to use our Fitness Area.
Upon arrival
Hotel reception
- Arrive early and enjoy a relaxing moment from 8:30 AM at the Marine Fitness Area, along with beauty and wellness advice.
- For your comfort, we provide luggage storage and changing rooms.
- Rooms are available from 3 PM at Thalacap Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
- Rooms are available from 4 PM at Thalacap Ile de Ré.
- Rooms must be vacated by 12 PM.
Course of the treatment
The treatment
- Medical examinations take place on Monday mornings (except for the Zen treatment with 10 Massages and for short 12-treatment courses).
- The treatment schedule will then be provided to you.
- Our treatments are forbidden for those under 18 (except for certain treatments possible from 14 years old).
- Some treatments are not recommended, or even prohibited, for pregnant women. Please mention this when booking.
- The medical examination is included in the Marine Thalasso and Expert Slimming treatments.
- For any other treatment or short stay, please provide a medical certificate of no contraindication to thalassotherapy or, failing that, a signed waiver upon arrival.
Restaurant
- Wearing a bathrobe is not permitted in our restaurants at dinner time.
- Unused half-board or full-board meals are not deducted from the final bill, and our packages do not include drinks.
- Any package modification during the stay must be reported to a manager.
The Thalasso Pack
For both treatment guests and non-treatment companions, on your arrival day we provide: sandals, swim cap, bath towel, and bathrobe for adults.
Some advice
At the pool
- Wearing a swim cap is mandatory.
- Gentlemen, swim shorts are not permitted.
Before treatments
- Avoid applying sunscreen or other creams to your body.
- Never arrive on an empty stomach.
During treatments
- Avoid wearing jewelry (risk of loss and damage).
- Drink plenty of water (1.5 to 2 liters per day).
After treatments
- Rest by lying down for half an hour after treatments before engaging in physical activities.
- Do not expose yourself to the sun after cryotherapy treatments.
Returning home
Remember to put into practice all the advice given during your stay; the benefits of your treatment will be prolonged.
